On the occasion of the World Day of Migrants, on 18 December 2018, at the National Museum of Slovenia - Metelkova, a fair of good practices for integration and cooperation with persons with international protection and asylum seekers will be held at the National Museum of Slovenia, organized by the WANNE - We all need new engagement project. At the fair, we will also boast a warm blanket within the campaign "We are a Hospitable Europe". Namely, we would like to point out that volunteering and humanitarian aid are an expression of solidarity and support in times of helplessness. At the end of the event, we will put the blanket in a prominent place on the museum yard and thus symbolically announce that we are representing the face of a hospitable Europe. At the Fair of Good Practices of Inclusion and Cooperation, we will present our current projects NEW ROOTS: Migrantour Intercultural Walks Building Bridges for Newcomers Active Participation and AKUPARA: Incubator of Handicrafts, Social Cooperative and Cultural Production with Migrants and Refugees. We will also get to know the various organizations and groups that are working to build a new platform of coexistence and point out the way to society, where we first and foremost are people. Together with our guests, whose fair is actually intended, we will also prepare a rich and relaxing cultural program.
