The project will mostly take place in Kostanjevica na Krki, historical town on the eastern part of Slovenia; however, some activities will be set in Ljubljana, the capital. From 1st October 2017 to 30th September 2018, 2 volunteers will gain competences on sustainable tourism, skill sharing, inclusion of migrants/ refugees and active citizenship.

Some of the activities include creative intergenerational workshops, skill sharing, textile recycling and reuse, organising activities along the heritage trail. They will take photographs and edit them, make video interviews as sub-casts, engage in PR activities and design web contributions.

Terra Vera Association collaborates with Božidar Jakac Art Gallery, a nearby gallery institution that will provide volunteers a chance to develop local programmes linked to the promotion of migrants contribution, skills and knowledge to local environment throughout the history.

Volunteers will live in a two bedroom flat in the centre of our little town, each will have their own room, fully equipped. Kitchen, living room and bathroom will be shared. Wi-fi signal will be available in the apartment as well as in the office which is a very short walk from the apartment. Bycicles will be provided for the volunteers as well. In our little town there is a supermarket, grocery, post office, a few restaurants and pubs, doctor's office, prominent Art Museum ... From Kostanjevica you can easily reach Ljubljana (100 km, 1 hour 45 minutes by bus) and Zagreb (60 km, about an hour by train). We have established connections with organisations that host EVS in nearby town Krško with which volunteers also collaborate during the EVS service.
