With the project, we enabled secondary school students and university and college students to participate in an active creative process with asylum seekers and refugees - and vice versa. With the previous project, we proved that migrants, refugees and asylum seekers bring knowledge, talents and skills to new cultural environments, which, with the appropriate support, can make a great contribution.

This time we connected those asylum seekers and refugees who came to Slovenia with experience, knowledge, talents, and have ambition and desire to work, with students of professional and technical schools, students and interested young people who are outside the process of formal education. With the help of a mentor, we encouraged cooperation and the joint production of prototypes of handicraft products, which also opened up space for intercultural dialogue, enabled personal contact between people of different cultures, strengthened awareness of the contribution of immigrants to the development of society and contributed to the promotion of an open, inclusive society and social solidarity . The project is the promotion of the creative and work potential of young people and asylum seekers/refugees as two of the many vulnerable groups that - recently - are increasingly burdened by forced social passivation.
